LawOne acts like a central dispatcher, evaluating your legal needs and then connecting you with a lawyer or a law firm in your local area that practices the type of law you require.

If you want to find out more about LawOne firms in your area and make your own decisions about who you think is the right fit to handle your legal issue you can search for a lawyer by geographic area or type of law on the LawOne website – just click on the Locate a Lawyer by Subject or Region buttons on the Home Page. We will give you a short-list of up to three LawOne members that meet your search criteria. You can then contact them directly using the phone numbers and email addresses listed on our firm contact pages.
Fast
Don’t waste time searching through telephone books or huge online directories that list thousands of lawyers. LawOne has pre-selected a small number of firms throughout British Columbia practicing in each major type of law.
Free
You don’t pay LawOne for referrals to a lawyer or law firm and using the service does not mean you have to hire a LawOne member. Once you connect with a LawOne law firm you are free to ask whatever questions you like, find out more about the firm and what they charge for their services, or set up an appointment. If you decide to hire a lawyer you find through LawOne, you will only pay the ordinary fees that lawyer charges to any other client.
